Working for over a year, spending countless hours, and vast financial resources to obtain this national and local certification clearly demonstrates the highest level of commitment and professionalism that is the driving force behind Pam’s Pressure & Clean.

Pam’s Pressure & Clean is owned by Pam & Cujo Cooley and is located in Covington, Ga.. Local power wash company ‘Called Up’

‘The major leagues’, ‘The big time’, ‘Getting the nod’, call it what you will, but everyone has the dream of getting the call to be a part of a winning team.
Recently a local powerwashing company, Pam’s Pressure & Clean, received the call to help in the Clean Across America campaign for 2005. They have been invited to join the All-Star team put together by Mathew Johnson of PWS Cleaning in Milford, New York. This year's special project is to clean The Baseball Hall of Fame’s Doubleday Field at Cooperstown, New York.

The Clean Across America Campaign is an annual event sponsored by the PWNA (www.pwna.org) to encourage local contractors to give generously to the communities in which they live and work. PWNA contractors donate time, labor, and materials to local non-profits for one week in July in an effort to improve the environment and safety in our communities.

After being chosen for the PWNA Contractor Spotlight in 2005, getting the call up for the event at Cooperstown was “an unbelievable thrill and a tremendous honor” says Pam Cooley, owner of Pam’s Pressure & Clean. Pam also says, “Being invited to participate in a charitable event is one thing, but being invited to help clean the birthplace of America’s sport is just incredible. We are humbled beyond words to have received such a great invitation.”

Pam’s Pressure & Clean is owned by Pam & Cujo Cooley and is located in Covington, Ga.. Since 2001, Pam’s Pressure & Clean has been serving a wide residential and commercial client base in the local area and all of north Georgia by providing all types of power washing; certified log home, wood deck, and fence care; as well as commercial construction clean up. PWNA Clean Across America Week

Power Washers of North America volunteer to help clean America

Pam’s Pressure & Clean, in a joint effort with power washers all across North America, will combine their efforts all across our nation by donating power washing services to neighbors in need.

During the week of July 24-31, 2005 power washing companies will be contributing their time, workers, and materials to various organizations and groups to work at schools, hospitals, shelters, parks, government buildings, as well as police and fire stations. Teams will help clean accumulated dirt and grime, graffiti, mold, mildew from our public buildings, streets, parks, and other public areas. All work is performed with environmentally safe procedures.

This volunteer effort is being organized by the national association of Power Washers of North America (PWNA) in an effort to improve the environment and safety in our communities. The Power Washers of North America is the recognized leader in developing and communicating the highest standards in ethical business practices, environmental awareness and safety through continuing education and active representation of the membership.

The original idea was conceived by PWNA member Henry Bockman of Henry’s Housework Inc. (www.henryshousework.com) in Germantown, MD. He has launched several service projects in his area such as pressure washing all of the log cabins for Camp Friendship. The Camp Friendship Program of the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation offers recreational and support programs for kids with cancer and their families in Maryland, District of Columbia and northern Virginia.

Power Washers of North America (PWNA) is a nonprofit trade association committed to communicating the highest standards in ethical business practices, environmental awareness, and safety through continuing education and active representation of the membership. PWNA Leadership in the industry

Everett Abrams, of Deck Restoration Plus (Shamong, New Jersey) and who is the Vice President of PWNA recently attended an industry-wide meeting at the US Forest Products Laboratory. This meeting was also attended by representatives of all of the major coatings companies as well as folks from the wood industry itself. Everett participated on the Finishes and Coatings Subcommittee whose responsibility it is to write and publish recommendations and standards for the industry.

Going forward, Everett will be chairing a committee to develop pressure washing standards as they relate to wood restoration. This position has been permanently assigned to PWNA, and now our organization will be at the center of establishing standards for wood care throughout the industry for years to come.

Having a seat on this committee is an outstanding honor for Everett, the PWNA, our Wood Restoration Program, and the PWNA Wood Technician Certification. The Forest Products Laboratory is part of the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA).

PWNA continues to take giant strides to educate consumers and contractors and to establish standards within our industry. Everett is a great example of the volunteer efforts of the leaders of PWNA, working at his own expense to move the industry forward while bringing recognition to our members.

Congratulations, Everett, on your appointment. And THANKS, Everett, for everything you are doing for contractors everywhere. You are what is best about PWNA members.
